I started out as a BBC Engineer, then a Freelance TV Cameraman and finally under contract for 10 years as one of the Producers on Central Television\u2019s Investigative Network Series \u201cThe Cook Report\u201d.  My background was always in TV, 40 years in Current Affairs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also won an award for a series of 13 half hour TV documentaries for Central Television on the Stoke Heath Young Offenders Institution which I produced, directed, researched, shot and edited (very much a one man band)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have worked in about 40 countries including the United States, Japan, Peru, Indonesia, South Africa, Zambia, Kenya and Tanzania to name a few.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m a bit of a keep fit nut and have a regular exercise regime. I have my own mini gym at one end of my sunroom, a treadmill, cross trainer, exercise bike and weights. I also have a personal trainer, Lewis, and this ‘getting fit’ website, https:\/\/get-fit-at-home.co.uk\/<\/a><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My leisure activities at the moment are table tennis and dancing. I enjoy driving and intend to see a bit more of the UK this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m fortunate as I\u2019m not on any medication and no replacement hips or knees, touch wood.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still an incurable romantic  \u2013 Well, that is what one of my sons says I am<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I enjoy happy endings so I am a fan of the Katie Fforde romances.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
